Antibiotic therapy, although essential for defeating an infection, brings with it a whole series of troublesome side effects.
Chronic fatigue, a sense of heaviness, decreased responsiveness to daily stresses, often accompanied by lack of appetite, which goes to worsen the above picture.
Reduced intake of essential nutrients also results in lack of strength, irritability, decreased attention. The mind also becomes less responsive, as if clouded by a light but persistent fog.
Alongside these generalized sensations, there can often be very troublesome gastrointestinal symptoms: abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, and altered intestinal transit, which often results in the unfortunately very common diarrhea associated with antibiotic use.
All of these symptoms only worsen the picture for the patient, who is not only struggling with an infection but also with the side effects of the necessary but trying antibiotic treatment.
Berinos Biotic was created to prevent and reduce these sensations, allowing antibiotic therapy to play its role, without intruding on daily life.
Antibiotic therapy is a key tool for the treatment of many infections, but its impact on the body's internal balance is never neutral. Damage to the gut microbiota is one of the most frequent and documented consequences. Antibiotics, by their very nature, do not distinguish between pathogenic and beneficial bacteria: in the process of eliminating infection, they profoundly alter the composition and diversity of the intestinal flora.
This condition, termed dysbiosis, paves the way for a series of physiological imbalances that can persist well beyond the duration of the therapy itself.
Indeed, under conditions of dysbiosis, many physiological processes no longer function properly.
There is an increase in intestinal permeability, a phenomenon that compromises the barrier function of the epithelium and allows the passage of normally retained substances. This state, also known as leaky gut, is associated with increased activation of the local and systemic immune system, with an increased inflammatory response and reduced ability of the gut to maintain homeostasis.
Damage to the gut microbiota also results in reduced absorption and synthesis of essential nutrients, particularly B vitamins, which are normally produced or absorbed from food by specific bacterial strains. Lack of these micronutrients, coupled with latent and persistent gut inflammation, generates a condition of generalized metabolic stress that reflects negatively on the body's energy status and ability to recover.
An additional risk factor, often overlooked, isincreased susceptibility to opportunistic infections. In the absence of a balanced bacterial flora, the intestinal environment becomes a breeding ground for pathogenic commensal microorganisms, including Staphylococcus aureus or fungi such as Candida albicans. This vulnerability is more likely to occur in individuals undergoing prolonged courses of antibiotics, in immunocompromised patients, or in individuals who already have a pre-existing condition of dysbiosis.
The risk of alteration of the microbiota is all the greater the longer the antibiotic therapy is broad-spectrum and prolonged. In these cases, the systemic impact is more pronounced and may also involve the regulation of the intestinal immune system, reducing the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines and promoting the activation of pro-inflammatory mediators. Thus, the dynamics that are triggered in the course of antibiotic therapy do not only affect the infectious pathology treated, but invest the entire intestinal ecosystem, with repercussions on the overall well-being of the organism.

Berinos Biotic is designed to offer comprehensive, targeted support to the body during antibiotic treatments, times when the body is called upon to handle a significant functional load. The combined action of its components intervenes on multiple levels, helping to maintain stability, energy and well-being even during the most delicate phases of therapy.
At the heart of the formulation is the B vitamin complex and vitamin C, an essential combination for supporting the immune system and energy metabolism. B vitamins act as cofactors in numerous cellular processes, supporting energy production and helping to counteract the feeling of exhaustion and weakness that often accompanies prolonged drug treatments.
The consequence of this supplementation is an increased feeling of energy, reduced fatigue and irritability, and improved appetite. Vitamin C, in addition to strengthening immune defenses, exerts a powerful antioxidant action that protects cells from oxidative stress and promotes recovery of vitality. It also works synergistically with antibiotic, reducing bacterial resistance and enhancing thebactericidal effect.
The vitamins are complemented by the action of butyrate, which is naturally produced by the gut microbiota but can be useful supplementary in conditions of antibiotic-induced dysbiosis. Butyrate contributes to the health of the intestinal epithelium, reduces inflammation locally, and protects intestinal barrier function; it is also active on pathogens that could cause opportunistic infections to develop, such as C. albicans. Butyrate also has effect on reducing gastrointestinal symptoms; symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and nausea are alleviated after its supplementation.
In a product designed to support antibiotic therapy, a probiotic cannot be missing: in Berinos Biotic we have selected Saccharomyces boulardii SP92, a yeast, which is not susceptible to the action of the antibiotic. It acts as a surrogate for the intestinal microbiota, improving intestinal homeostasis and helping restore the balance of intestinal flora. It is also an excellent ally in preventing diarrhea associated with antibiotic use.
The sustained release of active ingredients, made possible by ChitoSlowFlow® technology, ensures targeted and continuous action over time. This mode of delivery allows the body to receive a constant and optimal supply of nutrients, helping to sustain physical and mental energy and promoting greater adherence to treatment.
Berinos Biotic thus presents itself as an unobtrusive but effective ally, capable of accompanying the organism at times of greatest physiological stress, helping it to maintain efficiency, balance and strength. At a time when the body's resources are intensely stressed, its contribution can make a difference in the quality of the response and the perception of overall well-being.
